Hey guys

I went from an 04 RT to a 02 LT, sold the LT because it was not getting as much two up long distance travel as I expected it to do, so now I have a 05 K1200S. I love my KS and have been slowing but surely making it into a nice one up sport touring bike. BMW Saddle bags, MRA Touring Screen, Tank Bag, ThrottleMeisters.

But the wife does sometime wants to ride and misses having the LT around. So I am thinking in getting a 1200GS. I rode a friend's bike and WOW what a difference from the 1150 engine.

So my question is with the Vario Saddlebags and trunk and with a backrest on the trunk you who can tell me what kind of two up experience have you had. SO just loves it, hates it, its OK for a couple of hours.....

Thanks for any input

Hi Darcy! My neighbour just completed a 12000 km ride with his SO on the back of a brand new GSA. She is 5'8" and 115 lb. She loved it. ron

My wife likes the 1150 GSA OK, but wouldn't want to take a trip on it. The LT reserves that spot.

She finds the peg position way to high and her legs get cramped. I put my legs up on top of the engine gaurds and then she puts her feet on my pegs. Helps.

Wife is 5'8"+ with 30"+ legs.

Take a look at suburban-machinery.com if you are looking for passenger or driver peg relo kits. Ron
