Hi all.
First post here.
I have a 1990 K100LT. I just bought some PIAA 001's. What are some good locations to mount these? Does any one have some links to web sites with mounting brackets?
Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick,
Welcome to the board.
Lots of sites out there for lighting and mounts.
Try some of these:
http://www.motogear4u.com/ Our very own Raffy :)
http://www.cyclegadgets.com/
http://www.ascycles.com/
http://www.creativecycleconcepts.com/
http://www.rbrmanufacturing.com/K1200LT.htm
You can click on the Technicalhttp://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/misc/menu_open.gif link on the top menu bar and select Accessories, from there select Auxiliary Lighting for some other options as well.

I mounted lights on a 1997 R1100GS using 3/4 inch diameter, 1/16 inch thick, square section aluminum tubing I bought at Home Depot for about $10. Easy to cut to length, drill holes etc. Covered with shrink wrap for a nice looking, chip-proof finish and plugged the ends with plastic caps. The bar attaches to the underside of the oil cooler which is way out in front on the GS behind the "duck bill".
I stole the idea from one Lee Bastin posted at http://www.ukgser.com/forums/download/auxlights.pdf

That might be worth looking into. I'll see if I can find a suitable place for the bar on the LT. Thanks guys.
