Is the Fuel Injection system on the K1200LT a 'multi-port fuel injection system' ?
If not, how would it be described ? Is the mgr. BMW or BOSCH ?

Yes, there is an injector for each cylinder

I believe it is called a Motronic Unit. Not sure if that is the name of the company that builds it or just the name for the control.

The current LTs have a multi-port Bosch Motronic system. One injector per cylinder.
I think all BMWs have had Bosch systems until fairly recently, the newer Boxer engines have a BMW developed system (probably many parts of it still made by Bosch though).

Thanx Guys for the speedy responses.
Do you know where I can get specifice on the Motronic M 2.4 system on the '01 LT ?
The reason I'm asking about all of this is that I'm working on a project to convert it to a FFV (Flex Fuel Vehicle) to burn E-85 Ethanol.
Won't that be a hoot?
