The Sutter Cancer Center is hosting a benefit concert on September 16th. I am the featured performer and will be performing a wide variety of music on the piano. My performance will include religious, jazz, and broadway music. I will be concluding with Chopin's Polanaise in Ab.
The rest of the concert will feature a mixture of vocal music performed by local artists and a member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus.
The money raised from the concert is for a good cause. It would be really nice to see a few friendly faces from the HDDC in the audience.
I created a quick web page to provide more information about the concert. Please feel free to click: http://www.dellfields.com/concertnotice.html.
Thanks for your support.

Sounds like a great idea and I would normally put it on my calendar. I love piano music and often listen to it at work. However, we are taking off for a nine day ride that morning up into the great Northwest. All the best to you on your performance that evening and I applaud your effort in bringing this cultural opportunity to the forum.

My wife and I both play, really enjoy piano music, plus she is a 6 year cancer survivor, so I think that's a great reason to attend! Add to that your performing, and it should be a great evening! :D :D

Howdy Dell,
An evening of cultural exposure can only help someone like me, so count on Nancy and I being there.
Matter of fact, I've already registered and made our donation.
Let the organizers know we'll be coming on the LT. I just love those "up front" parking places.

The Quincy Beemer Bash is the same weekend. I can't think of a better way to end it but at the concert. I made donation and registered too.

The Beemer Bash sounds fun and it is too bad there is a conflict with the benefit concert. Joan has forbidden me to ride until after the concert. I am not fighting too hard on this one since I am still a little sore from my crash. Besides I need every minute of practice I can get. The jazz selections are going well, but the Chopin Polanaise in Ab is killing me.
Right now it can go either way: successful performance or an embarassment to myself, my friends, and family. :) Well, I still have a little over a week to get my chops.
Thanks to those who registered. It is for a good cause.

Dell, BRAVO!!!!! What an enjoyable evening, and what a performance you gave! Billy, Nancy, myself and Edee really enjoyed your wide range of music. Jazz, blues, Phantom of the Opera, and classical. Your last number, Chopin Polonaise in A Flat was very moving. Truly an outstanding evening! :D :D :D :D
Thanks for inviting us to this special night...
Billy & Nancy, fun hanging out with you folks again!

Thanks Bill, Nancy, Hal and Edee for attending. Roger I am sorry there was confusion about the concert night but your support is very much appreciated.
There were so many people that expressed their appreciation of my performance I was overwhelmed. But knowing there were two "Posse" members in the audience was very special to me.
Thanks again,
