I went to the LOE Rally last year. The rally site is the Sipapu ski lodge which one would describe as intimate, small and rustic. Several vendors were there including Snata Fe BMW, and RoadGear. Nice event, limited options if you're not camping. Plenty of ride options. Close to Taos if you're bringing a 'shopper'. Not sure I would ride there from CA just for it, but it'd be a nice waypoint on a longer tour.
