I want to go from Chico to Chester/Lake Almador.
In your opinion, what would be the best ridee on the K120olt:
Hwy 32 or Hwy 70?

Thank you

Hwy 70. Runs the Feather River Canyon. Nice sweepers and great scenery. A few towns and rest areas along the way. There are places where the bridges are under construction and may result in delays. Not too bad though. The road up Hwy 89 to Almanor from Hwy 70 is also a fine ride.

Hwy 32 is not as nice a piece of tarmac but OK for an LT. It runs at a lower elevation more in the foothills versus above the tree line on Hwy 70. Could be a few degrees warmer say 95 versus 82?

Hwy 70 is the feather river canyon, a great LT road with large sweepers along the river. Hwy 32 gains a little more elevation, nice road twisties and sweepers but no river.
I give the edge to Hwy 70.
