Well the night shift is over and I'm ready for a ride and chow. How about that Italian place in Clayton? I believe it was down the street from Ed's Mudville Grill. If my memory serves me correctly, they also have an old carshow on Wednesdays. Sound good?

Good pizza, 60's music, calm summer evening dining, old show cars and three guys and one girl sharing old war stories.....priceless

It isn't the number of folks that show up, but rather the quality of the folks. You guys are the best! I really enjoyed myself tonight.

Remember, tomorrow night is the final "Hot Summer Nights" in Danville. If you want to see 6 city block chuck full of the most drop dead gorgeous hot rods and pre-'70 autos, come to Danville tomorrow night. Grab some grub and just oggle the beautiful cars.

I'm getting there are about 3:00 p.m. so that I can enjoy all the machines being driven into Danville. If not tomorrow, see you all next week!

Dan & Steve:

The Blue Knights CA VII webpage is: www.bkca7.com Take a look at it, because there might be some rides you'd like to do with me, as my guest. Of course, you could join the chapter, if you so desire.

Steve, you're eligible now, and Dan, you'll be eligible in a couple of weeks.

See you soon!

Thanks John, I'll check it out today. Also like I told you, I would remember the name of the guy I worked with at the "Stick" on the ride home, it was Lt. Don Carlson. Sound familure?

Steve, I don't remember Don Carlson--just a guy named Ray Carlson. When I was still there, the "go-to" guy at Candlestick for both the Giants & 49ers was Vic Macia. Don must have replaced him after I left.

Dan, the name that I was thinking of was: ISIAH NELSON. He was killed in a motorcycle crash in 1990 on a barricaded stretch of Hwy 280, late at night.
