I had a clutch problem with my K1200LT :( . When I dropped it off on Wednesday night, I explained to Max that I was planning a weekend trip. He explained how much labor was involved with a clutch job and said he would do his best to get the bike back to me for the weekend.
That Friday at 1:00 Max called to say the bike was ready to be picked up.
My wife and I headed to Vermont and rode 385 miles that weekend and the bike performed flawlessly.
Thanks to Max and his crew for getting me back on the road so quickly! :D

is so accomodating. I just completed a 10,000 mile tour of New England, the Canadian Maritimes, Newfoundland, Montana and Idaho with WY thrown in as I yearly abandon Sturgis for a month.
I got FANTASTIC service (1 hour) at Big Sky in Missoula (a front tire). But… Gordon at Beaudry's (Post Falls, ID) told me it would be four to five hours to get the rear replaced.
Somehow I think BMW corporate needs to demand that their pretty looking but overworked dealer(ships) wake up and smell the roses.
Since BMW is touted as a touring bike, why hasn't corporate BMW instructed their dealers to address touring riders… on a more useful basis. Five hours for a tire is simply NOT acceptable.

I bought a 2007 Lt from Max BMW in NH two weeks ago and just had it deliver last Friday. I had an excellent experience with the crew of people working there. I was looking for a 2007 GW but decided on the BMW just because recommendations from friends on the excellent service and professionalism in Max’s. So far they delivered the bike to me and they will also come to my house to pick it up if service needed. I live 120 miles away and was 5 below cero the day of the delivery. I am looking forward to warmer weather to take it for a spin. :)
