Well it's that time again. Looking for another good suggestion for this week. I have a personal request this week. It is Mia's birthday on Thursday and was hopping we could continue the big turn out we are beginning to have to help wish her a happy B-day. She does not read the post so it would be a suprise.

She is fond of Mexican food, so I am looking for a suggestion on a place we can meet this week in the area. If we keep it futher north in the Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill/Concord area we might persuade some of the HDDC guys and gals to join in.

Weezie, Babs & I had a wonderful time celebrating Mia's birthday at LaPinata. Thanks for your generosity, and we look forward to our next culinary adventure, at perhaps, "Cattlemen's" next Wednesday. Nothing like steak & ale for a good old American dinner.

The burrito was adequate this evening, but I should have ordered a salad, too. I'm already having hunger pangs--No NOT REALLY!

Lily and I had a great time. Nice to see you all again and meet the new folks. Steve, Mia, Lily and I went home on Marsh Creek Rd. Steve and Mia had to take a long cut 'cuz the road was still closed. Deer Valley is a nice ride tho. Not too much out of the way to go down Balfour.

We hit a pretty good chuck hole on Marsh Creek and I think it knocked my headlight loose on the Multistrada!! I guess I will have to tear into it tomorrow.

See you all next week at the Livermore Cattlemen's. Unless of course we change our minds.

Dan already posted it, but in case you didn't read his post, we are tentatively going to the Livermore Cattlemen's next Wednesday.

I'm sure that Steve or "Just Bob" will give out the exact address next Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks to all of you last night for helping to celebrate Mia's birthday. She was to say the least very suprised as was evident by the very large bruise on my right bicep that was the result of her wacking me for suprising her !!

Thanks Barb for the thoughtfull card and the great time had by all. She wanted me to pass on to all of you how thoughtful you all were for singing Happy B-day and making her blush.

Great choice John on the place and the food was very good. May be next time you could not order off the kids menu and get a whole meal, ha ha

I don't think I have ever seen a more suprised waiter when he saw your plate.

Thanks to Michael and Gigi for making the big drive from SF and joining us. Dan, Lily, Mia and I took the scenic route back through Marsh Creek to find that SBC still had it closed off at Deer Valley. Not a real problem as it gave us another route back that extended our twisties a little longer, always a plus.

Looking forward to next weeks meet and may be was can pull out the calanders and maps and find agree on a date and route for the first S.a.w.d.o.g. group ride.
