Thanks Nathan,

I'm not sure why someone would ride an R1 like that, but he did it and "my hat's off to the man". Very impressive.

I'm not sure why someone would ride an R1 like that, but he did it and "my hat's off to the man". Very impressive.In an interview, Sjaak was asked that very question. To paraphrase his answer...he felt that the R1 just fit him like no other bike . . . and it was VERY reliable. Those are two good reasons.

Personally, I would be on a GS, or KTM.

Proves you do'nt need a GS , but I'm glad I bought one.
