During my usual 2-week family vacation down in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina...I had the opportunity to stop by the dealer in Wilmington, NC. I was told the dealership was small, so that didn't surprise me. What did surprise me was the warm welcome that I received. It was a real pleasure talking with "Jason", their technician. Although, I think he really is more like their chief, cook, and bottle washer. :)
Jason and the store manager's ears really perked up when they heard that I owned the new GT. Their amount of pure interest in my impressions of the bike was very cool. They asked me question after question. And they also took notes on what I am doing to improve the bike (i.e. seat and windshield).
Upon leaving, Jason gave me a few parting gifts and asked me to stop in anytime. I actually think he meant it. :)
What a wonderful experience! :bmw:
