We are not going there that way as Mia works in Dublin and we will take the super slab there, but yes that was the way I was going to take home. Looks like one heck of a road back home !!!

If your heading from Dublin and have the time look at taking N Livermore Rd. over to Clayton its a great road with lots of trees and shade. trust me its one of my favorite roads around our parts. Seems a lot better then dealing with the traffic on 680 at that time of the day.

Hey folks. Lily and I made it home safely. I hope everyone else did as well. We really enjoyed meeting those of you we didn't know and we just kinda enjoyed seeing Bob and Terri again. (Just kidding) :) Hey Bob, let's not make it two years between visits again.
Maybe we will be able to join you next week too!!

Nice to see everyone. 197 miles roundtrip. What a great restaurant selection. Who would have known it was out there in old town Clayton?

Good turn out and great meatloaf, right Terry? I can't believe Dan ate it all !!
Good suggestion Nelson, great food and interesting decor.
Made it home safely after seeing a water main leaking across Marsh Creek Road.
See you all next week

What a great time at a great location was had by all! We had a better then expected turnout, with 9 folks making the ride. The long distance award definitely goes to "TallyHo"!
For those that wanted, there was a drive-in hot rod show down the street at Skipolini's (sp) Italian/Pizza Restaurant. If you wanted to tear it up on the superslab, Hwy 680 was close by, but for those curve cowboys, Marsh Creek Road beckoned.
I hope Terry survived the ride home on Marsh Creek with Bob. It was wonderful meeting new folks and putting names to handles I've seen on this board. It was great meeting Lilly & Dan, and the lively conversation was stimulating. Thanks again for your efforts Steve & Mia.
Long live SAWDOG!!!!
