Does anyone know how to on 2006 lt use audio prompts on this system?

Check to see if the volumn is turned up to at least #3. Also, press the speak button. If you can hear a voice then you need to turn on the voice prompts in the Nav unit itself. It is set to prompt only when you press the speak button. Both easy things to check. Good luck.

Does anyone know how to on 2006 lt use audio prompts on this system?
The sound of the BMW Navigator II can't be heard unless:
- you use a headset in you helmet, linked directly to the Nav II cradle or
- you use an intercom system on which the Nav II is hooked up to.

If you have the BMW Voice intercom you have the possibility to have the Nav II sound on the speakers. In any other case you can only have the sound in your helmet.
