Been reading some of the noise problems with comm systems and have not run across what is happening to mine.
My problem= intermittent buzz with autocomm, radio, tape and CD player. Occurs thru speakers and headsets.(sounds like a blown speaker would sound on home stereo) Seems to happen more at lower speeds.
What triggers it= bump in road, front brake engagement, clutch engagement, occasional rear brake engagement, occasional electric windscreen movement, sometimes spontaneously occurs.
What temporarily cures it= If I turn the sound system off for a few minutes the buzzing sometimes goes away. Sometimes it goes away in a few minutes on its own.
Before I start just ripping things apart, I'd appreciate any suggestions on where to start. BTW, I am an electronics moron, so if possible please keep things as elemental as you can. Thanks......
