Looking for advice.
Is a GS tall enough to need one of these?http://www.greenfishsports.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1268
Do not plan on falling off but WHEN I do, something like this might help.
What is available that makes sense functionally and financially,
Got 30 days to figure it out.

Are you planning on riding it or launching it?

A tad bit of overkill doug :p

Hey, pending on size requirements ?? Have got a "Like New" Enduro jacket.

Build by: Thorsen hallman racing (THOR) & is Heavy cordura nylon with goretex membrane & waterproof. Air vents above shoulders on rear.

Sold my bikes to raffy, now have some gear I no longer use.

It has NO internal armor & made for off road racing. It is a Large and fits me fairly snug.

If interested ?? give me a call (530)672-8967

Anything but this:

That's just wrong on so many levels.

A visual I did not need.. :)

Doug:
It depends on if you are planning on casual riding or planning on racing (seriously competing in a Rally, Hare-n-Hound, etc.). It appears to be overkill except for the most serious riding. I have different riding gear for competing than I do for casual riding. Both provide great protection, just one set of gear "goes over the top" for obvious reasons.

With that said, if the gear makes you feel better; order it. If you ever seen my LT riding jacket you would understand.

I have heard many good things about that suit from ADVRider members and OKDualsport members.

Nobody ever PLANS on falling off, but when riding off road, its when, not if.

I take it pretty slow and easy, as I don't have much experience or skill.

So far, just one biff after back fishtailed through some sand and front dropped into rut, the back came around on me so fast I didn't even see it coming.

BMW Crash Bars and TT Zega bags did their job, not a scratch. She is much easier to pick up than the LT too. I had a good street jacket on, but just jeans. Got a bruise on my leg. Was only going 15-20mph when I went down.

I say buy it, and don't forget the legs and boots either !!

Doug,
One step at a time - see if you can keep it upright on the road before turning it in to an HP2 enduro. ;)

Hey Doug, If you plan to ride anything more difficult than a forrest rd/fire trail then that suit is a good idea. I have a similar one made by EVS (the 661 was my first choice but they didn't have one to fit me)

Those are "Hella" big, thought I had "Seen the Light" when I bought the GS.

Could take the fun out of the ride to see your destination before you start.
