Ok,
Well I am sure most of you read my thread
"Incompetant Dealership"
Well, read that one then read this one.
I called and cancelled my service for my bike last week. My bike was scheduled to go in today. This morning at 9am I received a phone call from Colorado Springs BMW/Ducati. They wanted to "confirm" my appt for today, initially I got pissed and went off on them and let them have it up one side and down the other. The guy could not even ANSWER... I told him "Do not call me again!!" If I could SLAM down a cell phone to hang it up, I would have.
I received a call back from a gent out there, who seemed very concerned and offered to listen to my bad experiences. I preceded to tell him from point a to point b what my problems were. I told him I felt his service dept was a was inadequate and his counter help was EXTREMELY Lacking, not only in personal/social skills, but in technical skills, inventory skills, etc.
Well, to sum it up, They are installing the Smartire on my bike for 99.00 and 2.0 hours labor(even if it takes them longer) and I have already got the 12v wire up the right handlebar shroud as it is to hook into, so no tupperware needs to come off. My Oil change is being Comp'd I believe.
So, if this pans out, they will perk my ears to at least return when it comes time to buy my GT(hopefully my Christmas Present....but more than likely Bday present in June)
I am still going to take my bike for it's next real service to BMW of Denver so I can meet the fine folks up there. Then I can have a comparison on where I will continue to go.
I am not only one that will complain when upset or mistreated, but I will praise where it is deserved and at this juncture COS BMW deserves a big "A" for effort, and I will confirm my experience once I scratch out this check for the work.
