Has anyone used one of these (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-7AqiyRA36AG/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=227450&I=581DFBMW) to connect the ipod to the cd changer input. It has two inputs, so you can connect an ipod and sat radio to the changer input. It's better than an fm modulator and it allows the factory amp and volume control to work... From what I understand that makes it better than using the aux input.
It's designed for bmw autos, but i'm guessing that the cd changer input is the same as on my '05 KLT.
What do you think?

I emailed USASPEC and received a response that they do not have an interface for the BMW motorcycles, but i am unsure if that is a definitive answer. They may not of understood that certain Becker radios work with certain IPOD interfaces. the manufacturer's website is USASPEC (http://www.usaspec.com/ipod.html)
I too am trying to find an interface for a 30GB IPOD Video and a 2005 K1200LT to replace the existing CD-Changer.

The new DICE (see thread here - http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9075 ) unit from DiceElectronics includes an Aux-In which can be used for the Sat Radio. Sure, with your '05 you wouldn't get full text on your screen, but you would have ability to flip through the iPod playlists and albums using the controls on the handlebar.

Is there a part number for the Dice unit?
Does the Ipod display work while using the handlebar controls?
:)
