Just picked up my LT from A&S BMW in Roseville, California. I made an appointment for a 36K about two weeks ago for this last Friday. They said they would have it ready by 3pm on Saturday. Saturday morning they called with some concerns about a few items they suggested replacing while the bike was torn down. Labor would be minimal that way. I agreed. About 2pm they called again to say it was ready to go. Right on schedule despite the three additions. A&S is not the lowest priced service around but their "new" service commitment is certainly a value-added commodity not readily seen these days.
I have had a few questionable experiences with A&S over the years but the last three times I have been in for service it has been on done on time and as quoted. I had them do the 24K about seven months ago. On both occasions my LT has been returned to me washed and running like a watch. A very measurable difference in smoothness and performance. It's such a joy and pleasure to have a quality BMW facility right in my own backyard. :bmw:
