New 2007 Beemers

When do the 2007 models hit the market? If I decide to get a new beemer might as well wait till the 07 model hits the street. Any ideas?

Thanx for the reply eljeffe. I own a 05LT and the wife doesn't ride with me much anymore, guess she's burn't out riding and looking at the back of my helment, sez I don't know how to take short rides :-) Thinking about test riding the RT and if I like it I might trade, wish I could have 2 but thats not going to happen, its one or the other. Who knows I might not even like the RT after owning the LT. nex

That BMW has a Warehouse "loooaaddeddd" with 05 RT's. And we can all expect very very very good finance deals starting to pop up half way through their 07 production kick off, which is August. So he told me middle of September on they should start.

I just sold my LT and looking for an RT now so I might just have to live with the un-eventfull 05 colors and get me one.

I wouldn't doubt that there are a few '05s still in BMW NA's inventory but think it doubtful that the company has kept the inventory almost through the next model year. That's kinda costly, no?

As regards the colors of the '05 models, the Piedmont red with the silver lower fairings are the combo to go with if you have the opportunity. I swapped my 'original equipment black lowers for silver lowers and lo-and-behold the bike is now 15 mph faster and gets 11.3% better fuel economy! :-)

moooost definitely, and then get the touratech aluminum metallic cyl-head guards, looks very nice.. almost even counteracts the fact that the topcase isnt color matched to the bike.

The RT colors for '07 are now on-line. I think some of the options are still to come. But I do like the integrated tire pressure option.
