I am investigating getting a web cam and wondering if some of you more knowledgeable folks would interject some advice as to what works and what to look for in a cam. I would like good quality and performance. I am sure pixels and resouloution are important. I am willing to spend up to $100.00 for one. Unless advice would be for more because of performance.
I have seen a few on I net and some pictures are poor, they blur with movement and others that never miss a beat. So I am sure there are reasons for this.

Thanks for those that respond.

You didn't say whether you were looking for a version for a desktop or a notebook, but here's the one I use: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1578492&sku=L23-7070

I like the size and the 1.3MP capability. Actually I bought my wife and folks the same one and we use them regularly on Skype.

Hope that helps!
