View Full Version : ZTechnik Customer Service Disapointing

I ordered a VStream shield for my LT in the group buy. It came as stated.
I found some blemishes in the shield. Last week I called on Monday and left a Phone message for a call back on what they wanted to do about the shield. No call back. I called back again on Wed of last week and spoke to a live person who transferred me to the shield division. After being on hold about 5 min, live person came back on and asked for my call back number. I gave it to him. As of today, not a word! I called this AM within a half hour of this message and now I get an "all circuits are busy" message.
I am getting a little steamed!

That's really a shame. Looks like you might have to play the "stay on hold until you get a live person" game. No matter how long it takes.

I got my V stream today with blemishes similar to what you may be talking about - small lumps of plastic in the screen? I also got their armrests - nice, but totally wobbly. It seems that they have left a shim out of the design. In its current format without a pax, the armrests will bounce up and down!
Real poor show since I live in South Africa and returning the goods would be a huge hassle.

Mac is on vacation (man you should speak with at Ztechnic) until next week. Sorry you are having problems, but he assured me they will make all the orders good. You may want to email Rob at Bob's BMW just to alert him of the problems. (rob.caple@bobsbmw.com)

After posting the original message, I sent an Email to them. About 11:00 AZ time I got a call from a rep. Again, I explained my problem, my attempts at contacts, etc. I asked him what he wanted me to do, send it back or follow any fixes they suggested. At first he wanted me to contact the dealership that set up the special buy. I told him I had spoken to emsweeny who told me to contact them and speak to Mac. He told me that Mac was his boss and from that he took my information and is sending me a new one this date. Once I get it all I do is put the old one in the box and place the return sticker on the box and send it off.
I have already received notice that the shield should be delivered by July 21st. At the present time, outside of the delay in using the shield I am satisfied with the resolution.
