My oldest daughter just made me a grandfather (for the first time) by giving birth to Alexis Anne Murray, 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and 21 inches long. :D :cool: :) Both are healthy and doing well. :D

Does that make me old? :eek: I don't feel old. :confused: Well not very often, anyhow. ;)

Hey, Gramps --- congratulations. They tell me that grandkids'll make ya feel younger, not older!! Not sure how that works, since I don't got some; butt you'll know soon enough, I reckon.

It I had known they were so much fun and then send them home, I would have had them first.

I'll post some as soon as they send them to me. They are in Memphis, TN. Hopefully, I'll get up there in 2-3 weeks to take some more. I'm waiting for my youngest daughter to get back to town, then we'll all go up to see them.

I don't know. 8 pounds and 7 ounces might overload the top case. Plus, I think I'll wait till she's potty trained. :eek:

Just remember . . .
Owning an LT doesn't make one "old".
Having grandkids doesn't make one "old".
But owning an LT AND having grandkids? Umm... :D

Congratulations! Being a grandpa doesn't make you old...but on the other hand you are sleeping with grandma.

They're the best people in the world (followed by BMW owners, of course). Just put both of mine to bed, as a matter of fact. We're lucky enough to have them for the night (one of the benefits of having the pool in 90 degree heat)! Congrats and best wishes to all of you! With any luck, I'll get both of mine out on the K12 tomorrow!

Congratulations, Doctor. I too became a grandfather last October (and I'm 6 years younger than you!). You again are witnessing the magic which leans toward the divine more than medical science. It is a rite of passage that we should all be blessed to gain. And of course you spoil her. Then, when she's really fidgity you can give her back to her Mom and go for a ride on the LT!
