I may be delusional but was thinking of someplace that is under water or in a glacial cave (how far is it to the nearest glacier?).

There are ice caves near Bend, OR. However, if you could manage a dinner in a vineyards aging cave among the oak barrels, that would be ideal. Seems like there is one up near Fiddletown that does that but it's a tad pricey.

How is the AC at the Elk Grove Brewery?

I sure wanted to go to dinner this week with you all but Judy got some tickets to see the Gypsy Kings at Wente Vineyards in Livermore on Wednesday night. I haven't had the opportunity to share my breakdown story in Area 51, the Aliens and my trek to Las Vegas looking for help and finally my trip to the Red Rock Rezendevous in Panguitch UT and the Flaming Gorge. Guess I'll just have to save it until we can meet again. Enjoy!

Where is everybody?

One thing I remember from Physics class is "there is no such thing as cold, there is only the lack of heat".

Well it is definetly not cold and we got plenty of HEAT.

I will be taking the less hot route to Yountville, west on Hwy 12 from Lodi.

I'm Here, where ever here is?
I have a project to do with my son after work that will run to about 6pm, so I will try and make it after that. If I can make it, I'll buzz over by the shortest route, don't wait at the start for me.

Good selection Bruce.

It was a little warm for the trip down but the ride was great. Hwy 128 had no traffic at all and the road was clean and clear of gravel. :D Jim and myself had a nice 140+ miloe round trip from Sacramento. I beleive there was 10 for dinner and the band and farmers market was a nice surprise.
