I'd like to know the name of a particular Chevron station in Utah, because I accidentally rode off without paying, and would like to send them what I owe.

The station is on the south side of UT-12, between where UT-12 leaves US-89 going east, and the town of Tropic. The station sells Chevron gas, includes a mini-mart, and the pumps don't take credit cards (you must pay inside). The station is right on the south side of UT-12, not down a side road (like UT-63).

I rode off without paying due to a combination of the pumps not taking a credit card (I'm no longer used to going inside to pay after pumping), and being cold and wet, and a little discombobulated, due to being hailed on as I rode over UT-14 to this station from Cedar City.

Is this the Chevron across the street (actually offset by 100') from a motel and restaurant with a white front? Next to a campground in the woods? Exactly 3.2 miles west from the road that turns into Bryce Canyon? Just after the road levels from Red Rock Canyon?

I don't remember anything nearby across UT-12, but that doesn't mean much.

If you have a name for the place you have in mind, I could get in touch with them.

Check this link.

http://web.sa.mapquest.com/chevron/advantage.adp?proxIconId=400&transaction=search&searchQuantifier=AND&ph=250&pw=315&zoomlevel=8&queryIconID=556&county=&country=US&address=&city=&stateProvince=&postalCode=84764&radius=10&search12=1&country=US&ambiguities=1

It's the one of which I speak and the only Chevron on that road between Hwy89 and Tropic.

Good Luck,

This doesn't appear to be in quite the right place, but it's close, and I'll give them a call.

Thanks!

Yea, that map shows that station in the middle of the forest, but they are at milepost 10 on Hwy 12. What about the warrant for your arrest? :)

The station you suggested was the right one. I called them, and also got an address (it's in Bryce Canyon Pines, with a six-digit P.O. box).

I didn't think about there being a Chevron station locator. Good thinking.

Thanks again!
