I stopped in Banff Alberta yesterday and because I was going to be away from the bike for a couple of hours I decided to put my 2610 in the topcase (out of sight--out of mind). As I removed it from the locking Tourtech mount it slipped, and as I made a grab for it the screen came in contact with a sharp edge on the Tourtech. The GPS unit now acts like I have my finger moving on the screen (the screen display keeps shifting around). Does any-one know if Garmin can/will replace the touch-screen or am I buying a new unit??

My 2610 had a fogging issue and it was over a year out of warranty. When I called them they were very nice and said to send it in they would fix it under warranty. I had it back in 2 weeks. They have a plan for a couple of hundred bucks they will fix or replace, if it was something they will not cover under warranty.
