Rubber trim for chrome trim

I have seen some black rubber strips to apply to the saddle bag chrome strips if they are damaged, but cannot seem to find them now........need source.

How about some made out of SuperBall rubber so when it falls over, it will bounce back up so I don't have to lift it?
