A couple of guys/gals are coming up from Oregon and we are going to meet up at Ridewest in Seattle around 10am. They have a little business to attend to. After that It would be nice to go over the North cascades hwy and head south in Eastern Washington and make a loop back somewhere applicable to where you live. Any one interested in coming along?

While you are at Ride West you can go downstairs and *slap* Ali into shape for me. :D ;)
You could also buy that GT!:bmw:

Sorry to say that I will be outta town this weekend. Y'all have a wonderful ride.
Wish that I could join you.

Best,

Sorry you all can't make it, I think Ken has his eyes on that GT! I will check on Ali for you though. Small change to original plan.... A few things came about for some of the Oregon tribe, So it looks like Ken coming up solo so far and meeting at 11am at Ridewest. Then heading for a shorter undetermined ride from there. Most likely the coast or Mount Rainier.

Sorry to make a fun day-long ride a "shorter" one. I forgot that Pauline has an appointment Saturday morning. We will be heading to Western BMW after that appointment to pick up some parts that I ordered;) . I'm hoping that Pauline will approve, afterall they were for her birthday last week.;)

We will be heading back north in the early afternoon and perhaps we can meet up on your southern loop. Look for a voicemail now-and-again.:)

Brian,

I'm not gonna make it today after all, sorry. :( Work exploded yesterday and I stayed straight through until about 6:30 this morning. I'm gonna sleep for a bit then head out in the afternoon. Maybe down toward Corvallis for da Vinci Days (http://www.davinci-days.org/).

__________
Ernie,

Give me a call in the afternoon and maybe we can hook up.

__________
Coni,

What's the name of your buddy at Ride West that helped us get Ali's swingarm sorted out? I need to talk clutches.

I guess I don't need to be tempted by that GT now. I think I shall go to Mount Saint Helens.

Enjoy the ride, Brian, and I'll take a rain check. Uh, maybe I'd better rephrase that? :)

Sorry for the weekend ride plans going into the dumpster. :( The good part is my present for Pauline came in and we installed it on the bike; we got a new windshield. We got a Vstream by Ztechnik. Being that the bike is really Pauline's (;) ) I thought it was appropriate to buy her the Vstream for her birthday. She loves it! and I like it a lot too.

The day was long and we got in a checkpoint in Mehamma, OR. Not a bad lunch for the $$$.

We found some roads down the valley that are fun and twisty. I thought I had been on all those roads, but we found 6 new roads with a total of 160 miles that our LT has never been on before.:D We will visit them again.

Next time we make a plan it will stick.

And Brian, sorry for bailing also. I did get a short ride in this afternoon, but would've enjoyed your company.

Brian,
Keep the invites coming. I really need another ride West very soon. The outlaws (inlaws) were in town and I was strapped to the house helping the wife entertain. Would love to come out your way and meet more folks from that side of the mountains.
