The 10/100 of June we've had our 2006 National K1200LT meeting and we think this was the biggest KLT meeting of all time since we grouped more than 100 K1200LT!
If you're interested to see some pictures you can do that browsing our photo gallery (http://www.kog.it/album/thumbnails.php?album=95).
Ciao a tutti

Just returned from 8 days of riding in Tuscany with Moto Tours. I only saw one LT and one Hog. My bike was a well-ridden R1000 w/ 60K miles that just won't quit!
For the twisties of Toscano, I think my LT would have been just a bit too large. Also the parking anywhere is a nightmare even for bikes.
Total tour was about 900 miles, Gas is $6/gal, AND speed limits are just suggestions!
The posted limit on the Autostrada was 100km/hr and I could barely keep up with the group at 160 km/hr (96 mph). The R1000 did fine, it was me that was worried! Most of the twisty driving was is 3rd gear! The Ducati's on touir were problematic with electrical issues.
Enjoyed the lane splitting, going past traffic to the traffic lights to be first in line (just a few in Tuscany) and passing because bikes RULE!!!!!
The most scenic riding was on the Isle of Elba. Poor little Napoleon!

Speed limit on the highway is 130Km/h. If you go over 120 until 169Km/h you could get a fine (if catched) of about 130 Euro and 2 points taken from your license. If you go over 170Km/h and you're catched you can say goodbye to your license. Standard speed on the highways is about 140Km/h.

Going past traffic to be in the first line at the traffic light is standard here and no one cares. Can't you do that in USA???
