I love my GPS but at times it has steered me wrong.
Wrong way on a one-way street.
Left turn at a no left turn.
Make a right here, then a left back to the same road.
Through a Marina park over the sidewalk.
Someone put a factory in the middle of this road.
:)
Couple of missing gas stations too.
GPS = Quest city select 7x maps
Nope not a complaint, just an observation!

I noticed if I generate a route on the fly with the GPS and I don't have the maps loaded for the area the route passes through I get some strange routing as well.
Most notably instructing me to take an exit then take the on ramp to get back on the same road.
With the detailed maps loaded It works like a charm.

Any database has errors, after all humans are the original source of the info. The database you are using (city select) is particularly prone to problems since it does not claim to have accurate info for much of the US. The city navigator database is much larger and more detailed so less prone to some of the errors you list, it still has its own shared and independant errors. . .that human thing again.
