I wuz intrigued by Rider magazine's picture ad labeled only:

http://www.theworldsmostpowerfulnakedbike.com/

And since I don't frequent the other K-bike forums, apologies if this is old hat and has already been around the net.

Yep...tune it for sport-touring, a bigger fairing, hard bags, power windshield . . . and I'd say you'd have a pretty nice bike. ;)

Yes, and while we're moving on, we'll ponder whether free expression of opinion remains welcome on this site. :)

We had a Yamaha WaveRunner until a couple of years ago (the sit-down version of a "jetski"). Used to get some of the related magazines; at the time, one of the after-market companies took a then-top end WaveRunner and hopped it up so it would do 0-60 in 2.3 seconds! I don't know how one would hold on to something like that.

Too bad its as ugly as a bulldog chewing on a wasp.My bike resembles that remark....and you're right. The look is nasty, snarling and, well, pissed off. I like it!

It's not true, at least in my case. At #260 I can't get to 60 in less than 2.8 seconds :( AND I've been trying since June of '05 :yeah:

Wow, this thread has gained some new life.

Well, all I know is they put a large amount of $$ (as in, $65 THOUSAND) into an already-high end solo PWC, used radar or whatever to clock the speed, etc., etc. However, having owned one for a few years and knowing how long it took just to get on plane, 2.3 seconds to 60mph does seem... optimistic.
