Gentlemen/Ladies Start your planning

I just got back from ME and Nove Scotia. I have great idea. Lets plan a trip to the great white north for next year. Here is a rough plan I have:

Go to Bar Harbour and camp for a couple of Days. Then head noth into Canada, then into NS and onto PEI. I was thinking that we could have someone drive an RV and let that be our home base. It would follow us during the ride just in case something were to go wrong. The RV would have a trailer attached for those unforseen breakdowns or just to give someone a rest. We would stay overnight at different campgrounds, etc. I am thinking 10 days to two weeks worth of riding. This time around the dog won over the LT but next year the LT is going. I will post some pictures over the next day or two. But right now I am going to sleep in a real bed with AC. WOO HOO. :D

Almost forgot we then would come back through NS into Yarmouth and grab the Ferry back to ME. Either Portland or Bar Harbour.

Geez I thought you guys would jump at the idea. Maybe it is a little too early to plan but we could talk about it.

This has promise!
I would love to go and be able to see where our ancestors came and settled, maybe do a day trip or two up around PEI to do family research.
I vote for camping a little and B&B's MORE :)
As it gets closer (Feb/Mar) I can start to plan, Glad to hear you guys had an awesome trip!!

I have wanted to do a PEI trip but do not want to do it solo. I did a solo out to MOA Spokane and back that was without incident but post trip thoughts have me concerned.
So barring any major incidents, i would love to do something like that. I am completely retired, live alone and available to go just about anytime.
Hope to meet some more of you CT/NE folks at the MOA or maybe a coffee get together locally.

We will have to get together early in 07 for a planning session. PEI was defintely on my list of places to go.
