RCB Breakfast at the Western Coffee Pot, just north of Greenback on Auburn, 0730 - 0900. Head over to A&S from there and take off for a Mountain Ride, Maybe Forest Hill Rd and Mosquito ridge roads.
Anyone up to getting out of the heat?

Mountain Ride Report. :D
After Breakfast and a Visit to A&S I tooled on up to Foresthill Rd, all the snow is gone and the road is clear. As I was heading up the mountain I noticed on the GPS that Forest Hill rd split and went in two different directions to meet back up later. I took the road less traveled, it must have been the Old road, it soon turned to a dirt and gravel trail - I loved it. After the dirt I followed the nice paved road till it ended. 25 miles to the North was Soda Springs via a dirt road but where to after that? 6 miles to the south was Mosquito ridge road via a slightly technical dirt road. I went south and the first mile or two of this road was a little hairy for me, kind of looked like a river bed that went straight down hill. I had turned the ABS off and drug my back tire all the way down. Once I reached Mosquito ridge road the outstanding paved twisties began and I followed until French Meadows Res. From there I followed the small paved roads around and upto Hell Hole Res, then back down and around to cross over the Rubicon River. From there I went to Uncle Toms Cabin for a refreshment, then Union Valley Res, Ice House Res, Wrights Lake, back to Hwy 50 and home.
Little over 250 miles, I stopped a lot and played in the dirt - took about 7.5 hours. When I got home I had 4 miles to go on the BC. I also found a large finishing nail in my front tire - It wasn't leaking until I pulled it out, the tire went flat in 30 seconds. Great day of riding, and the whole route can be done without dirt with just a minor change.

Nice pics, John. And the bike looks great . . . from the left side. :) Makes me wish I had a GS, too.
