Since new have had an alternator whine in my headphones on the 2005 LT. Has anyone used a noise suppressor between the battery and alternator to eliminate alternator whine? If so, where can I purchase a high amperage unit?

Eliminating alternator whine is easiest and cheapest by using GLI (ground loop isolator) cables on the devices that are picking up the whine via a ground loop.

Two questions...
What intercom system do you have?
What other devices do you have that are powered by the LT's 12V system? (i.e. cell phone, iPod, FRS/GMRS or CB radio, etc.)

I could wait for an answer to messenger13's questions, which are right on target, but in the meantime....

If you are using Baehr intercom, Raffy sells an isolator ($79.95) that is plug and play. I used it to eliminate the "whine"
