I just wanted to let you all know that the XM RADIO BLAST by Delphi is BACK and effective TODAY!!

You can buy the Roady Personal Audio System, regularly 149.99 on sale for 19.99 +shipping.

I was looking on Cyclegadgets and you can buy it there for 75.00+S&H.

Also the ROADY XT is 79.99 with a 30.00 rebate when you call Delphi, Cyclegadgets has only a 20.00 rebate.

Just thought you all should know,

FYI, You can buy the XT at Wally World for $48 and then send in the $20 rebate from XM (you can get the form on line from Delphi) bringing the price to $28.

I just went to Walmart.com and it is 39.92 for the XT.

It doesn't mention ANYTHING about a rebate, so I am still searching that. In the meantime I called Delphi to cancel my XT order and she was telling me that theirs for 79.99 with 30/rebate includes the car kit minus the remote. So, I cancelled my order with Delphi for the new XT.

I did however take the PAS and the remote for a TOTAL of 29.98 and they did in fact waive my shipping fees.

So, off to Walmart for an XT.

Hey, Bill - put THIS SITE (http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecce/shop/showcaseb/default~showcaseb~satellite.asp) on your 'favorites' list, or bookmarks. Thanks to Dave Dragon, some folks were able to pick up some Delphi models for just the shipping costs. They run great specials frequently - just have to be checking on 'em pretty regular to catch 'em. I bought a Roady 2 and an XT for $4.95 each when they had them listed. Made buying the 4' antenna easy!!! Good luck.

Dick,
You will not let that 4footer go will you...hahaha.

I just went to that site and seen the xpress....has anyone mounted this on the LT? I haven't held this one or messed around with it at Best Buy, but with a knob instead of a wheel, wouldn't it be easier? And besides it is only 50.00 as well.

Just asking.

Also, the Express has a built in Aux jack for a "portable player" does that mean I could essentially just plug my Ipod into it, and then it would then be transmitted via the FM modulator through the system??? IF SO, then I am sold on this idea I think. The only thing left to consider would be size.

Ok, I found out my answer, now I need to find my mounts...

I have decided to purchase the Xpress. A few reasons, the knob, the buttons are not flush, screen is a little larger, it comes with a remote, AND it has the audio in, that DOES work with the IPOD. So, I will have to configure a mount that will work to hold the XM and the Ipod within close proximity of one another on the bike. No ideas at ALL at this point. I will however be buying the Otterbox for the Ipod, and the RAM mounting plate for the Otterbox. So, I just need to figure out how to have them mounted that will not obscure mirrors and yet close enough to manipulate the functions when needed.

Since I am left handed, I am leaning towards the clutch side. That will leave my Brake side for the V1.

Any ideas guys? Is there a way for me to mount both up on the dash on either side of the factory mounted GPS? Or together on left bar area?

Just so you all Know.

The Roady XT has a 20.00 rebate as mentioned by Wolf, however, it strictly states that units purchased at Wal-mart, Target, etc, etc, etc the rebate does NOT apply.

So 40.00 for the XT, I paid 55 for the Xpress shipped to the door. AND I can plug the IPOD into it.
