Looks like the seat is WAY too high for MotoGP! Are they coming out with a GPA course? :D

Looks like the seat is WAY too high for MotoGP!I don't agree. From the position of the BMW rider, it looks to me that he's setting up for a turn, so the rear may be elevated a tad. But compared to Rossi's Yamaha, I see little difference. And we all know that pics can be somewhat elusive. I think the ergos are right on target. And I, for one, am VERY excited about this news! Go BMW POWER!!! Woohoo!

Looking at the pic, I'd say he's braking pretty hard. Look at the front end and how much rear tire is in contact with the asphalt.
I hope BMW dives into MotoGP.

looks like it has conventional telescopic forks ... and it looks like they are totally bottomed out.

Yep, very similar. I had not noticed them being that high up. Seems too high from a CG standpoint, but then they have to have their feet way up to get lean clearance.

I read another article somewhere that this wasn't targeted for MotoGP use. Rather it was a test mule for a variety of new technology development for their bikes, such as traction control, new engine management, etc. I would really like to see BMW do something competitive in MotoGP or Superbike; that would just add more flavor to either/both series.
