G'day Guy,s

Just had to tell the world, Simone and I head off in 16 days to the Kimberley in North West Australia for a trip of a life time, 5 weeks of four wheel driving in the Kimberley. We are heading for El Questro station to get married on top of a place called Pigeon Lookout overlooking the Pentecost River at Sunset.
Then it's off to the Mitchell falls, Broome and everything in between.
Unfortunately we can't do this on the Battlestar (LT) but sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
For those of you overseas the Kimberley is one of the most spectacular areas in Australia great bush walking, fishing views and an abundance of wildlife.

Best wishes. I've married to the best lady in the world (24years) and it feels like just yesterday we met. Two children and one grandson (who is just the best ever) ago, we met one late night and the rest is history. If there is one thing I can pass on is " never go to sleep mad at one another". It has worked for me. Good luck. Mike ;)

Jake,

In 2002 i rode my VFR800 all the way round Australia.I passed by the Kimberly Ranges on my travels.I was getting low on money, but dearly wanted to see the region.
Sssssoooo... i did what all good tourists does and i went nuts buying post cards of the places i wanted to visit.
I have planty of photos of the Kimberly region via postcard.
It sure looks like one lovely spot of Australia.

I doubt that there is many weddings done there. It will certainly be a very memorable wedding for sure.

I wish Simone and yourself the best. And i would like to see some photos posted here on the thread upon your return.

Why cant you do it on the LT???

Just stick some knobby tyres on, she'll be right mate!:)

Good onya Jake and Simone, a long and happy life together. Mrs Dog and I have almost 20 years up married, never regretted it. Best decision she ever made for me :D .

Enjoy the Kimberleys. That's one area of this big wide brown land that I'd like to see. Hey Dez, can you get knobbies that size for the LT? Sounds interesting...........

Big Dog,
Mate to be honest i dont know if you can get knobbies big enough to fit the LT.

BUT...

If you cant then i bet i could chop up a few knobbie tyres and JB weld them to the tyres on the bike.:D
