I think Bob's BMW has 'em, or you can go to Wal-Mart and in the sporting goods section, pick out some steel braided fishing leaders. Choose from several lengths. Lotsa folks here on the list have used those and successfully kept the mirrors attached to the bike in an 'oooops'. HTH.

If you're referring to tethers you have several options. I use steel line fishing leaders myself. Bob's and others have sets specifically made for LT's available. You can also make them yourself with steel fishing line and crimp style connectors to form the loops.

I bought and tried to tether my mirrors with the wire cables but could not get the mirrors to fit back onto the mount. So after several tries, I gave up and ended up using plastic zip ties which is working very well..my .02c

...ended up using plastic zip ties which is working very well..my .02cJust make sure they are BLACK zip ties. White zip ties do not have any UV protectors in them and grow very weak and/or brittle quickly. Take it from a phone guy.
FWIW, I used coated braided tethers I bought from an online hardware vendor. I didn't spend $5 for 4 of them.
