I've been way more than just "patient". But finally, I'm taking delivery on my new GT next Tuesday (the 20th). That's 11 days that it took to get a bike that was setting in a showroom in Grand Rapids, MI. That's just 5 hours away from my dealer!!! Dag it's tough buying a new Beemer sometimes.

Cool Randy! Congrats! I shoulda known you'd be joining Jeff and I. ;)

I think I might hafta make a thunder run out to Colorado after I get my 600 service. Just to get a feel for how she's gonna do on a long run. That, and to say "Hi" to Dean & Deb Sauer. They live in Golden.

Michelle and I are off to Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, ETC on July 1.
She bought a new K1200S, so we're heading out on two brand new bikes for a 3000+ mile journey. I hope these things are reliable ;)

Yes they do. If you make the trip let me know, maybe we can grab some food at The Bluebonnet or sumpin.Sounds good. If I'm coming, it'll probably be the last week of June and I'll give you a hollar.

If I don't see ya...y'all have a safe ride.

Plus, we find the Canadians in Alberta to be very pleasant to visit with.

You're right; can't beat the Alberta/BC landscape and those Western Canadians are right nice and hospitable. Just don't forget about us little 'ol Ontario folks.
Some very pretty riding and we even make nice hosts too.
But... those rockies are supreme.

JSOntario is next year. A few years back we covered ground from Vancouver to Regina. Next year we are going to start in Manitoba or western Ontario and head east to Nova Scotia. We are planning on making that journey cover three or four weeks.

I recall your statement suggesting the GT purchase was Hinging on a test ride. I do not recall your test ride comments. Are you electing to forgo the test ride
