I stopped riding this bike after I got too busy to ride it. For a while, I road it once or twice a week, then I had an issue with the front brake locking up, so I stopped. The wind blew it over about a year ago, and cracked the windshield. I haven't tried to start it in ages, so I know it wouldn't start even if the battery weren't dead.
It has Italian brakes and locking hard saddle bags with locks. I think it might need a solenoid switch (it's been intermittent) and front disk brake kit (seals--cheap to fix--front brakes are sticking), but haven't had time to tinker with it. (I haven't really had much time to ride since my son was born, which is why I'm selling the bike. It really needs a better home.) It has around 51,700 miles on it, and I understand from the person I bought it from that I'm the fourth owner.
When I bought the bike, about 4 years ago (for $3000), it was listed on Kelley Blue Book "retail" at $2850, today it's listed at $3115, so it's beginning to appreciate.
I'm willing to negotiate within reason, but must have CASH. E-mail me if you're interested, and we'll arrange a time to see the bike this weekend. I know that some simple carb work would have it running. I know nothing about brakes.
