This motorcycle has been meticulously maintained and has absolutely no service issues whatsoever. The bike was put in service on May 24, 2006 and will be covered by the remaining, transferable warranty until May 23, 2009 or until it reaches 36,000 miles - whichever occurs first. The tires were replaced about 3500 miles ago and have a little over half of their tread left.

All required BMW maintenance has been done including the recent 12,000 mile and annual service. This bike was always garaged and has never been down or in a collision. It consistently averages 45mpg on a mix of street and highway driving - providing a range of 250 -300 miles on a tank of gas. The miles on this bike were in large part on the highway.

With 152 horsepower on tap, the stellar Paralever and Doulever suspension and an amazing ABS braking system - this bike will take you anywhere you desire to go, safely and quickly. The clever Paralever rear suspension prevents engine torque 'jacking' of the rear suspension under power or compression under engine braking. The Hossack design of the front Duolever suspension eliminates suspension dive under braking, allowing full suspension operation at all times, including under severe braking. The front suspension is silky smooth and eliminates the stiction induced in conventional telescopic forks. Go into a corner hot, on rough pavement and this bike remains safely in contact with the road and corners as if on rails.
